Not so Kool

Kool-Aid pickles? (NY Times link.) Apparently certain stores, mostly in the South, have taken to marinating dill pickles in Kool-Aid, turning them amazingly bright colors. "It's a candy pickle," said one kid.

    Eek! This looks like the kind of hell we used to create; tomato cookies, beef jerky ice cream. Barf!
