Family affair

Haitian writer Edwidge Danticat has a heartbreaking piece in the New Yorker about losing a family member in the earthquake. Don't miss it.

I was reading that on the train to work earlier this week and started crying. Beautiful, devastating piece. Now I'm going to have to search out her books.
