I've often wondered what happened to the wonderful Darby Romeo of Ben Is Dead and Retro Hell fame. Looks like she's living in Hawaii and running this surf blog. Very cool.

I wondered for years who the "Ben" was and if he was really dead. According to Wikipedia, he was Darby's ex-husband, a Frenchman, and she only dreamt he was dead.
