Split personality

Our tortoise-shell cat has a split face too, right down the center of her nose, but she's not as striking as this one because both of her eyes are the same color. This one's truly something.

Crunch-a-munch

This cat looks eerily like our Crunchy, even down to the tortoiseshell split nose.

Of course, it ends up being a photo used in an ad for FAT CATS SPECIFICALLY.

Darth Kitty

My friend Lisa sent me this classic image of a Hello Kitty Darth Vader. A guy on Boing Boing reports that he was the originator, and sadly, the costume isn't real, it was Photoshopped.

The chair recognizes the senator from...mmmmrrrrrr....

Cat Congress mired in sunbeam.

You know this is exactly how cats would run things, bless their lazy, furry little hearts.

But my favorite Onion cat story remains the photo of the cat in military uniform where it says "Cat General fears war on string may be unwinnable."

Tortitude

Tortoise-shell cats are said to have a rather unique dominant (some say insane) personality. Anyone who's met my Crunchy would agree. Just ask Kelly.

Anyway, I may have to get this shirt.

Heh

Why do I get the feeling I'll be saying a variation on this a lot as Kelly gets older? She and her dad will be a perfect pair for getting into mischief -- of the best possible kind, of course.
