Sisterly love

This blogger's childhood memory of playing a really stupid (and dangerous!) game with her sister just cracked me up. It's exactly what little kids do.

Kelly, if you end up doing something like this, I hope I don't find out about it until you're 35 or so.

Kids are like little mini daredevils. I remember we used to jump on the bed all the time. My mother was always telling us to stop because we were going to fall and get seriously hurt. We always figured if we fell it would be on the bed so how can that hurt. Well, one day while jumping on the bed, my brother pulled a blanket I was standing on. I flipped off the bed and banged my head on the corner of the closet. I never jumped on the bed again!

Oh my god. My siblings and I used to have "kick fights" where we would lie on opposite ends of the bed and pretty much just kick each other until someone got upset or we tired ourselves out. I'm not sure if that's better or worse.

My cousins and I used to play "King of the Tree" which is exactly like king of the hill except you climb a tree and try to push each other out of it. A couple of concussions and a dislocated shoulder just made it more interesting for us. Then again, we were farm kids...so you have to make your own fun.
