From slavery to the White House

Interesting story tracing Michelle Obama's roots, back to a great-great-great grandfather who was a slave. He could never have imagined his descendant would be where she is now.

I kind of have a serious girl crush on Mrs. O, in case you can't tell. From what's been revealed of her parenting, I think she's sensible and smart. She tells her girls they have to make their beds, but it doesn't have to look good, "just pull up the sheet." And when someone asked her how she is, she says she is "only as good as my most sad child." How do you not love that?
