My friend Stephanie and I were talking about how we've both played pachinko in Tokyo, but neither of us had a clue what we were actually doing...only knew that a pachinko parlor is possibly the LOUDEST place on earth, maybe even louder than Vegas.So I went and read over Wikipedia's instructions on how to play pachinko, and I am not one bit more clued in on what the heck I should have been doing. But it was fun to observe!

I spent three years in Japan, and still have no idea what it's about. I have asked people and I have watched TV programs on it. I am convinced that it will never make any sense...just like that 12 hotdog and 8 bun issue the grocery store has kept going.
