Songs of the 612

This article about Twin Cities-themed songs is written by two of my old Twin Cities Sidewalk pals, Chris Bahn and James Diers.

They do include one of my faves, The Replacements' "Skyway," but inexplicably leave out Prince's "Uptown."

I heartily enjoy thinking that I started my working career at an office job just three blocks from Tom Waits' "Ninth and Hennepin," where "all the donuts have names that sound like prostitutes."

No "Hennepin Avenue Bridge" by Brian Sezter?
Maybe as most...architectural...or something.
