An Oxford Education

So I saw the Oscar-nominated "An Education" today, and had to know more about the real story it was based on. Here is a great summary by the woman who was the real Jenny, Lynn Barber.

She did not, it turns out, care quite so much for her older lover, Simon, as the character in the movie did for hers, David.

She also writes about growing up before feminism, which for her, included an illegal abortion while at Oxford.

I think I may have to buy and read her entire memoir.

Lynn Barber is one of the best interviewing print journalists ever. I highly recommend trawling Google for her celebrity and artist profiles. She's no-BS, insightful, and funny.
