'Buried' alive

Was every kid fascinated with stories of being buried alive, and all the old men who would put bells and phones in their coffins?

This movie trailer digs up all our worst fears again.

I was scared to death of that when I was a kid and so into those devices!

Then I read a book that said, "There is no chance of this happening in modern times, because if you were not dead when they started to embalm you, you would most certainly BE dead once they were done."

Do you remember this story from the 70s about the busload of kids being kidnapped and buried underground! I guess I was about 7 years old at the time and it freaked me out big time!

Holy cats! There's a scene similar to this one in "The Serpent and the Rainbow" where a drugged man wakes up in a coffin and the screen is impenetrably black. I got claustrophobia in a theater that seated several hundred people, which I would not have thought possible.
