Orange you glad they exist?

Orange Creamsicle Oreos? Has anyone tried these? I'm not sure about this. I guess they have to have vanilla cookies since chocolate and orange might not go together (though those chocolate oranges are popular), but I don't think I'd ever pick these up.

I envy your ignorance on this one, Gael. Orange and chocolate is definitely a popular flavour combo outside the U.S. A very common treat in the UK and Australia is "Jaffa cakes," which are orange & choc flavoured. I can't stand it. I've even seen beautiful Jaffa cheesecakes and such. *shudder*

I cannot stand ANYHTHING flavored orange creamsicle except for actual orange creamsicles. For some reason, all the yogurt manufacturers have started offering "orange creme" flavored yogurt, I guess figuring it would be just as popular as "key lime pie" and "lemon meringue," but it's gross. Just gross. I'm very disappointed in Oreo for jumping on this bandwagon.

This is not really original, more of a twist on the cheapo store brand orange and lemon flavored sandwich cookies that my family seems to like so much. The Creamsicle thing is a new wrinkle, but I imagine Oreo has a lot of vanilla cream filling laying around to play with. The cheapo cookies are actually quite nice.

I've tried them, and cannot recommend them. The filling is slightly reminiscent of a Cremesicle, but the cookie is kinda bland, and doesn't provide any contrast to the filling. I think an orange filling, chocolate wafer Oreo would be yummy, but I really like that flavor combo.

My girls loved the chocolate covered orange creamsicle things. I don't know about these cookies, although they don't sound bad. Too bad I'm on a low-carb diet. LOL!
