Hmm, while I'm all for the weird foods, I don't know about this rainbow rice, soon to be available in the Eastery colors of yellow, purple, pink and green.
There's just something lovely about the plain neutrals of white and brown rice, especially when topped with a lovely chicken korma or ma-sa-man Thai curry, that would definitely lose something in the translation if it were transformed into highlighter colors.

Wow, bizarre! I've experimented with adding a little black rice to the regular stuff when making sushi, and it has a subtle and interesting effect on the flavor, though I admit it does look pretty strange.
