I'm kind of fascinated by Where's George -- not fascinated enough to buy myself a stamper and mark up some bills myself (although I think I did all of one with a pen before getting tired of that). I've entered four bills into their database, and those four have promptly disappeared back into the nation's currency without ever landing in the hands of someone who cared enough to go enter them in the site again.
I found a single that had been marked with the Where's George URL in my purse the other day and am not really sure where I got it, but when I went to enter in the number at the site, I discovered it came from someone who lives in my general neighborhood and who has entered more than 10,000 bills already. Whoa, now that's dedication.
Where's George has a Canadian cousin; its name is Where's Willy. They play the game with $5, not $1, because they are smart and have $1 and $2 coins. Which is fun and all, but try rubber-stamping a URL on a coin and see how far ya get.

Wish that you could stamp rubber coins; they stay in circulation so much longer. Something might actually happen. Where's George bills just disappear into the ether and get shredded long before they fall into the hands of someone curious enough to enter them into the database.
The majority do, but it's like fishing; one bite and you come back.
Where's George is totally fun, I just wished I could get Where's Willy bills down this far south, because that one would be fun too. I am cardeologist on both of them, just never got to enter a Canadian bill.
