Not Martha linked to a cool Weblog called Food Chronicles, which has posted photos of regular sized M&Ms next to the new mega-M&Ms so you can see how much bigger they are.
I think they're kind of disappointing -- the Megas don't look that much bigger than peanut M&Ms.

I like the mega-sized plains. They're big enough to hold on to while you dip them in peanut butter.
I was also a little disappointed with the Mega plains. The colors are kind of blah and there is just something about the original that is so ... perfect. (Of course that didn't stop me from finishing the bag:))
I love the megas because they get the chocolate-to-candy-shell ratio just right. Long live the megas!
