I love Malls of America.

Recently, they featured another great photo from Rob and Todd's childhood mall, Topanga Plaza, and now they featured a vintage photo from the mall that's closest to our Seattle house, Northgate. I didn't think it had the totem pole anymore, though a commenter says it does, it's just somewhat hidden. It's a mall desperately seeking a makeover.

I wonder what those people sitting in front of Northgate in this postcard are doing now, and where they are.

Awww, Northgate. I live about 2 minutes away from the mall. Awesome pic!

I just went to the Northgate Mall yesterday, for the first time in many years. I wish it still looked like that! I did not see the totem pole; then again, I came in the west entrance.
