Stamp it out

Now's a good time to stock up on stamps if you need 'em. They've really released some gorgeous commemoratives lately, including:

• Greta Garbo, looking out from beyond a curtain of hair, a la Veronica Lake
• Arthur Ashe, with an artfully placed tennis racket
• Jim Henson's Muppets. Hi-ho, Kermit the stamp, here!
• Elegant vintage cars from the 1950s
• And a beautiful set of civil-rights stamps, called "To Form a More Perfect Union"

Of course, I send so little real mail these days that I'm still using up my Dr. Seuss stamps
