Really fun sports article about whether the figure in the NBA logo is in fact Jerry West, and whether it should be modernized for a league that no longer looks or dresses like West.
I think it's a pretty cool, semi-generic logo myself, and I wouldn't mess with it. (Via Kottke.)

I was reviewing all the logos before voting in the poll, and I realized that I like the NBA's best. You get an impression of movement from it that makes it feel more vital and connected with athleticism. If any sports league logo needs an update, it's the NHL shield.
