A friend is trying these Shower Soothers, tablets you put in your shower to react with water and release comforting vapors to help ease congestion. I may just have to try these the next time my allergies have me miserable.
I tried them, too -- clears the sinuses right up. Plus an excuse to stay in the shower for a really long time until the thing finishes dissolving. (Make sure you've got plenty of hot water available, eh?)
I'm an entertainment editor at MSNBC.com, and have maintained Pop Culture Junk Mail since August, 1999. The New York Times called the site "one of the best places to explore pop culture online," and Entertainment Weekly included it on their Top 100 Web Sites list. If you like weird food, strange products, and 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, PCJM is your home away from home.
I have a brand new BOOK, written with Brian Bellmont. "Whatever Happened to Pudding Pops? The Lost Toys, Tastes and Trends of the '70s and '80s." Buy it online, and follow our retro reminiscing on our GenXtinct blog,Facebook, and Twitter.

Love me some shower soothers. All the sinus clearing goodness without the Vapo-rub + boiling water + towel-over-the-head craziness of yore.
I just bought their plug-in thing and hope it helps the Hub's godawful snoring. Wish us luck...
