Wow, the Go-Gos betrayed a little bit of my youth by selling "We Got the Beat" to Papa John's Pizza, who are using it to sing "We Got the Meats" in a new promotion.
Ugh. I hope they paid them so much that they can stuff their ears with $1000 bills whenever the jingle comes on.

I felt the same way the other day when I was all excited to hear the bass line from "Head Over Heels" only to realize that they were using it to hawk Pantene shampoo. *sigh* I guess "Our Lips Are Sealed" will be used to push Weight Watchers next.
