Breakfast burritos at 9 p.m.?

I used to have a thing for McDonald's breakfast burritos, with lots of hot salsa. I didn't buy them often, but I would get in ruts when I would totally crave them.

Half the fun is their comparative rarity: Some McDonald's, especially in L.A., don't offer them at all. And even here in Seattle, they're only available until 10:30 am weekdays and 11 am weekends, so the time element was always a factor.

Now, however, McDonald's may offer breakfast all day. I can't decide if that's a good thing or if it kind of ruins the thrill of the hunt. I think the latter.

I love those too, we have had them up here for a few years now (Newfoundland, Canada) but lately there is no choice of salsa you only get mild! Drag....

I've never had too much trouble finding them, but, yeah, you can only get the mild salsa now.

I asked a McDonald's manager about it one day, and he said almost nobody wanted the hot version (which really wasn't very hot), so they discontinued it.

I love the idea of breakfast all day - it's the only McDonald's food I can stand. Might not be good for my waistal area, though...
