Wikipedia has a list of ESPN's top 25 flops in (American) sports, and of course my Vikings managed to make the list, with their infamous Herschel Walker trade, where they gave up ... well, pretty much everything, and got ol' Hersch.
I'm more fascinated with the individual flops, though, like Ryan Leaf and Todd Marinovich. I'm intrigued by these lives of men who were such athletic stars their entire lives, worshipped at their high schools and colleges, and then saw their lives go completely off the rails.
