Smelling like a rose

I'm a sucker for bath products that smell like sweets. It's a calorie-free way to start off the day, and it's how I reward myself for dragging my butt to the gym at 5:45 a.m. -- when I'm done, I get to shower with Cinnamon Buns or something equally yummy from Philosophy.

But then we were at Bath & Body Works this weekend, and I discovered they also now sell a 3-in-1 bath product (the "3" being shower gel, bubble bath and shampoo in one product) with some super-delightful holiday scents. I ended up buying a large caramel corn bath product and smaller ones of gingerbread and hot chocolate, and they're all terrifically yummy. I passed on the peppermint because eh, peppermint.

At Bath & Body Works, it's also the season for Vanilla Bean Noel body lotion, which is the only lotion I'll use after a workout, and which is so yummy that if I run out during the year, I will buy it on eBay rather than use another product.

I love the vanilla products from B&BW, but I'm not allowed to wear them in the home. I originally bought some because the Mr. loves vanilla, but he didn't like the products because he said they smelled too much like cookies and ice cream and were making him hungry all the time.

These are a smidgen of a rip off of Philosophy's amazing 3-in-1s, but I don't really care b/c the flavors sound so yummy.

But do try Philosohpy's Cinnamon Buns sometime. It's so deliciously wrong.

I'm currently obsessed with Philosophy's Lavender Pound Cake one right now. It sounds all wrong, but yet it isn't.

Is the hot chocolate one really plasticy? Sometimes chocolate fragranced stuff smells like vinyl doggie chew toys to me, and unsurprisingly, it's quite off-putting.
