I think we just saw Apes's outfit and hairdo a few posts up in your entry about the 1980s Hair and Beauty Book.
I don't know why this is how April suddenly makes herself look now that she's 16. What, was there a household rule forbidding her to style her own hair before this? (true, she was better off, but still...)
