Mr. Krushchev said, 'We will bury you'

Nikita Krushchev may not have exactly meant the USSR would physically bury the US, but really, his version is not that different: Supposedly the phrase he used translates more as "we will attend your funeral" than "we shall cause your funeral."

It's still one of history's great quotes, even if the USSR was the first one to crumble.
