Overheard on "Brothers and Sisters" this week (paraphrased): Calista Flockhart's character accuses Sally Field of not being enthused or something when her grandson was born, and Sally says "Oh, that's not it, I was just mad that they named him COOPER. That's a LAST NAME."
Heh. Right on, Sall. It's our last name, and it's so funny to hear it as a first name, and it's becoming more common every day.
Of course, the name we picked, Kelly, is reportedly the #2 last name in Ireland, behind only Murphy. Sure 'n' begorrah.
