Do you believe in miracles? YES!
I cannot believe that any sporting event will ever eclipse the 1980 Olympic hockey gold medal for me, and I've seen my hometown Twins win the World Series in person. It comes second to the Miracle on Ice, though.
It helped that the majority of the team, including Coach Herb Brooks, was from Minnesota. My niece's good friend's brother was the backup goalie, but he never got to play since Jim Craig was so good.

That's funny considering I live in Lake Placid village and walk by the Olympic arena on a daily basis.
