I mean, I'm all for a good Corona with a juicy lime wedge stuffed in the neck, and I'm a big fan of Diet Coke with Lime, but...I say again: Bud Light Lime?
Gael, That's not as bad as their newest concept (at least down here in Atlanta) which is Bud Light mixed with...wait for it...CLAMATO. Can you imagine anything worse? Well, maybe you can, but hubby and I bought one just so we could say we tried, and it was like a big glass of "monthly visitor". They are marketing it to the latino population and calling it chelado style, although my wiki-ing and googling has told me that chelado style is with the lime. Hmmm.
I'm an entertainment editor at MSNBC.com, and have maintained Pop Culture Junk Mail since August, 1999. The New York Times called the site "one of the best places to explore pop culture online," and Entertainment Weekly included it on their Top 100 Web Sites list. If you like weird food, strange products, and 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, PCJM is your home away from home.
I have a brand new BOOK, written with Brian Bellmont. "Whatever Happened to Pudding Pops? The Lost Toys, Tastes and Trends of the '70s and '80s." Buy it online, and follow our retro reminiscing on our GenXtinct blog,Facebook, and Twitter.
