My son had these last weekend at IHOP and loved them! It's a huge stack and I think I went into sugar shock just looking at them. They even put a sucker on top!! Maybe that's how Jim Carrey gets all his energy- sugar rush at IHOP!
Absolutely awful. I can't believe someone could call this breakfast or a meal. Between the sugar piled all over it and the sugar that will be produced as the pancakes digest - diabetes anyone?
Those are so gross. My roommate and I sometimes babysit a girl with autism, and last weekend she spent the night with us while her mom was out of town. Anyway, on Saturday morning we all got up to go to breakfast (one of the girl's favorite things to do) and went to IHOP. I saw these on the menu and nearly gagged. SOOO foul and disgusting!
Of course, because of the bright colors and pyramid-like stack, our charge threw a fit trying to get them. We knew she wouldn't like them (she hates overly sweet things and things with strange textures, like M&Ms on a pancake)and finally got her derailed by taking the menu away and just ordering for her, but I saw a couple of kids in the restaurant eating them. They look like diabetes on a plate.
I'm an entertainment editor at MSNBC.com, and have maintained Pop Culture Junk Mail since August, 1999. The New York Times called the site "one of the best places to explore pop culture online," and Entertainment Weekly included it on their Top 100 Web Sites list. If you like weird food, strange products, and 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, PCJM is your home away from home.
I have a brand new BOOK, written with Brian Bellmont. "Whatever Happened to Pudding Pops? The Lost Toys, Tastes and Trends of the '70s and '80s." Buy it online, and follow our retro reminiscing on our GenXtinct blog,Facebook, and Twitter.

I looked at that picture and then one of my molars just spontaneously fell out onto my desk. True story.
