Flour blooming

The King Arthur Flour company has a store in Vermont.

Rob and I were in Vermont briefly two years ago (drove from Boston to Bennington so I could get my "Secret History" fix), but when Kelly gets older, we're definitely going back.

We've been to the store a couple of times. It's hard not to want to buy one of everything. It's just on the other side of the White River from Hanover, NH, so when you're done stocking up on baking stuff you can wander around the Dartmouth campus, which is very nice.

I went there in a blinding snowstorm. Didn't dampen my enthusiasm for buying yeast and flour. And a cup of coffee and ... what, a lemon square maybe? Don't remember.

Hi Gael - Glad you liked our store. Just remodeled it last week, too - c'mon back! Cheers- PJ Hamel, King Arthur Flour baker/blogger
