Alan Ruck, who played Cameron on "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," is 52 years old. (He was already 29 when he played the 17-year-old in 1986.)
That seems just impossible to me. Let my Cameron go!

What's impossible for ME to believe is that I actually *was* 17, when that film came out! Where the bleep has my youth gone?
Oh, I love me some Cameron!
Seriously?! 52! Girl, come over to my office and pick me up off the floor where I have fallen in shock.
I always wanted Cameron to be my emo boyfriend, before emo had been invented, and provided his father did not beat him TO DEATH that very evening, which I have long suspected/feared.
"What are you interested in?"
"Nothin'."
I somehow only saw Ferris Bueller's... a few years ago and thought Alan Ruck was adorable. I went to IMDb to find out more about him and was SHOCKED when I realized that he was 29 when it was filmed. Guess I'm not the only person in their late twenties who can pass for a teenager. ;)
