Fishing from the moon

Pop Candy had this cool link to a site that offers up history on the various studio logos you see before a movie starts.

I do admit I really like the calming little boy fishing from the crook of the moon in the Dreamworks logo. (Click through to that link to see the real boy it was based on!)

And although "Waterworld" was an awful film, it was funny how the water washed over the globe in the Universal logo before the film even started. Heh.
