Why are we not in Chicago right now? Why, why, why? Well, besides that it's 20 degrees colder than in Seattle and about to snow.
But at least we'd be eating well. My friend Scott sent a link to Greasefreak, which features droolworthy pics of great Chicago food, including Italian beef, hot dogs, and burgers. What, no pizza?

My husband always says "The only time the floor gets washed at Gene & Judes is when the Des Plaines River floods." And yes...we go there anyway! (I don't like it as much as I did before they tore down the Cock Robin ice cream stand next door to it.)
