I love you, period. Do you love me, question mark?
1980s love letters, from different girls to one uber-popular guy. (Whoops, I thought this was via Scrubbles.net, but apparently I found it somewhere else!)

Well, that was oddly compelling (though I wonder about Jon's motives for posting those letters, and hope he asked all those girls for permission).
OMG, this is hilarious. I like Mychelle's letter the best because it contains references to "Alf" and The Karate Kid Pt II. Then you get to the photo of Jon and wonder why all these girls loved him so much.
I'm an entertainment editor at MSNBC.com, and have maintained Pop Culture Junk Mail since August, 1999. The New York Times called the site "one of the best places to explore pop culture online," and Entertainment Weekly included it on their Top 100 Web Sites list. If you like weird food, strange products, and 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, PCJM is your home away from home.
I have a brand new BOOK, written with Brian Bellmont. "Whatever Happened to Pudding Pops? The Lost Toys, Tastes and Trends of the '70s and '80s." Buy it online, and follow our retro reminiscing on our GenXtinct blog,Facebook, and Twitter.

I think these letters are a bunch of bunk simply because of the frequent use of the word gay. I don't think it was used in that context in the '80s.
the word "otay" fills me with an unhealthy amount of rage

Sigh...I miss letters. Now it's all texting.
Oh, I completely abused the word "gay" during that same time period in notes that were so similar to the ones on that page that it's scary!
