When I saw in an article the other day that President Obama was having wreaths sent for Memorial Day, I figured he didn't just call FTD or log on to 1-800-Flowers.
Turns out there is a White House flower shop that handles that kind of thing, and their head florist recently retired. Now there's a reality show I'd like to see!
It's also interesting to me to read the various flower favorites of each First Lady and First Family. Whoever knew I'd find my tastes in line with Barbara Bush?

Interesting article! I didn't know that people used to think flowers made the air unhealthy. Wax flowers sound really unappealing.
