I'd like to ask for your hand...

I tried to read the sample chapter of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," but even as a fan of the original, and of the undead, I just got nowhere.

However, this trailer for "Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters" is all kinds of awesome. Plus, books have trailers?

Heh! I wasn't interested in the Zombie one either for some reason. But this looks hilarious! Thanks for sharing the trailer!

Oh Man. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was horrible. I am ashamed to say I read the whole thing even though I wanted to quit, and stuck it out only so I would have the privilege of being able to complain about the thing as much as I wanted. This is why I will not read Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. Because P&P&Zombies was a completely awesome concept and it stunk on ice. I can't be suckered like that twice. ADDITIONALLY. They are no where near the ocean in that trailer. They are CLEARLY lake monsters. FALSE ADVERTISING.

I was so excited about PP&Z too, as both a fan of P&P and of zombies. Sadly, I couldn't finish it. Great concept, poor execution!

That was pretty good. I have been intending to download the books to my Kindle. I'm disappointed that the reviews here were so poor. I'll give them a try anyway. Anyone that goes to all the trouble to create a trailer for the book means for it to be read! Thanks Gael, love your blog.

Well, Debra, I thought P&P&Z was awesome. I love Austin and this book especially. I thought it was executed nicely. So don't give up yet!

I liked PP&Z as well, despite not loving the original. I found the sisters much more interesting characters as zombie killers. The writing style is definitely unique and not for everyone. Thank you for posting this - not only would I totally go see Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters in the theater, I'm going to order the book right now!
