Snapshot into a life

The NY Times ran this wonderful story about a man who has a developmental disability and has worked at a hardware store in Brooklyn for nearly 60 years. What will happen when he can no longer work there, or the store closes?

It mentioned that he has a brother in NJ. Presumably he wouldn't allow anything to happen to his brother

Thank you for sharing this, Gael! It's a lovely story. My 15-year-old daughter is autistic, remembers numbers, dates and details, and can tell you what day of the week a certain date will fall on in the future like George can. My hope as of now is for her to work at our local supermarket chain, which has been named one of Fortune Magazine's best small businesses to work for a number of times. I know she would be a great asset because of her amazing memory for details!
