The sweet-faced girl on Michael Jackson's arm in the "Thriller" video was Ola Ray, who was a Playboy Playmate three years before doing the video. (Today, that would be alllll over the press, but at the time I don't think I ever knew that...did you?)Apparently she felt she wasn't getting paid her proper due for the video, and sued Michael Jackson just two months before he died.
This is random, I know, but I'm researching "Thriller" for the book, and I just had no idea who that woman was until now. Everybody's got a story.
Man, look how cute she and Michael were back then.

Funny. I just listened to that song this morning and it really made me appreciate the Vincent Price voice-over all over again.
