N-E-S-T-L-E-S

Stephanie VWL sent these links my way, and hooooow did I not realize how HILARIOUS these were when they first aired? Because I mean, REALLY!

They remind me of nothing less than the Simpsons episode where some artiste makes Homer a Mr. Plow commercial that airs on late-night TV and the family stays up late to watch it, and it's just all randomness, kinda like a cologne ad. And Bart or Lisa asks, "Dad? Was that your commercial?" And Homer says "I...don't know."

It's really a shame this ad was wasted on WHITE CHOCOLATE, which is a contradiction in terms.

Oh my god, I totally remember that commercial. I think sometimes the soundtrack goes through my brain when I'm feeling all spacey.

Had no idea Nestle was so influenced by Maxfield Parrish. Huh.

Not to get all Sinbad on you but hearing "Creamy Whiiiiiite, Dreamy Whiiiiiiite" over a bunch of agressively caucasian people and ice skating does make me wonder if this foolishness sold very well in say... Compton.

I remember this too - every word. (It would be nice is all the space in my head full of jingles could be used for something useful, but noooo.)I love the ahhhh-ahhhhh... after "dreamy white." So 80's!

My fav part of that Mr. Plow episode was Linda Rondstat in the hot tub with Barney singing the Plow King jungle in Spanish. :D :D
