Well, crap. Looks like the Crest flavor I liked best, Vanilla Mint, has been discontinued. It's still listed on their Web site, but Internet buzz says it's gone except for some sites or stores which may have a stash. My local stores seem to be flat out.
It didn't really taste like frosting, which was my joke, but something about the vanilla flavoring cut the mint so it wasn't so sharp. Damn. Should've stocked up while I could.
I am with you 100%! I loved this toothpaste so much. I actually just found 3 of the smaller squeeze bottles of the Vanilla Mint at our local Albertsons. I of course grabbed the last three. But definitely check grocery stores or Big Lots if you have those. Good Luck. :)
I'm an entertainment editor at MSNBC.com, and have maintained Pop Culture Junk Mail since August, 1999. The New York Times called the site "one of the best places to explore pop culture online," and Entertainment Weekly included it on their Top 100 Web Sites list. If you like weird food, strange products, and 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, PCJM is your home away from home.
I have a brand new BOOK, written with Brian Bellmont. "Whatever Happened to Pudding Pops? The Lost Toys, Tastes and Trends of the '70s and '80s." Buy it online, and follow our retro reminiscing on our GenXtinct blog,Facebook, and Twitter.

I can't find my Citrus Splash flavour anymore either. It's most unhappy-making.
I tried this stuff once and gagged... and my mouth felt dirtier than before I brushed. Oh well, sorry they discontinued it if you liked it.
