Do you know about Geni.com? You can keep your family tree there for free, and unlike the family tree programs you buy in the store, it's totally intuitive and so easy to update.
I have six siblings, as does my mom, and many of her siblings have 9 or so kids, so just remembering all my first cousins names is a major ordeal without some form of reminder. Love it.
