Spicing things up

Not Martha linked to these cool artisan sea salts. Vanilla salt? Nicoise olive? Coconut garam marsala? I may have to try these sometime.

I wonder if you can get little samples, or even make your own, as you can with vanilla sugar simply by putting vanilla-bean scrapings in with your sugar.
