For RIGHT ON!

Occasionally, someone will read one of my "For Better or For Worse" posts and get all agitated and rush in to defend Lynn Johnston. Occasionally, that person is my mom. I wish those people would understand that my "FBOFW" posts are meant as gentle eyerolling, not militant snarling.

Anyway, this is prelude to say that I haven't loved a "FBOFW" strip as much as I loved the Sunday strip in some time. Aw, it was just about perfect. And made me want to bake some pies.

And I don't even mind the April-zit storyline, though I really hope it doesn't drag on all week.

Yes, Sunday's strip was very touching. Nice touch I thought too having both the Canadian and US flags. Don't know if that's what really would have happened for a Canadian ceremony, but it made my patriotic little heart flutter :)

As for the acne, let's hope it doesn't drag on all week -- but i have a feeling. . .

But it makes no sense! Why is there a US flag for a Canadian veteran? Why is Liz asking such dumb questions, since she's heard this all before from Grandpa?

And why such a lame pi joke?

Really, I usually love Johnston's Remembrance Day strips, but this one's a clunker.

It was cute, but I thought Elly had stopped by in panel 6.

All these "April's zit" storylines just have me wishing she would clip back her bangs! That would be better for her skin than any kind of cream, silly girl.

If they think you're too hard on FBoFW, lord help them if they ever see the FOOBiverse.
