There are some gorgeous Christmas-light displays on our block, and the row of brick Tudors of which we are the last house is almost all outlined in lights. (We felt so guilty that we had to outline our Tudor, too, and it really does look awesome now, if I do say so myself.)
But not everyone goes for subtle and lovely when it comes to holiday lights. Some prefer CRASH BOOM BANG IN YOUR FACE! Check out uglychristmaslights.com for prime examples. I actually don't find all of the photos posted there ugly, though some are quite funny.
