I'm still in LA, but just had to post about the latest For Better or For Worse happenings. Raise your hand if you saw Anthony zeroing in like a heat-seeking missile eight weeks ago. UGH!
Liz and Granthony? Oh, this is going nowhere good. I love how he is painted as so perfect, too, when he essentially rushed into a marriage with no clue, urged his wife to get pregnant when he knew she didn't want to raise the baby, and flirted with his ex the entire marriage. That's one classy catch!

Oh gah, I know! He's becomming creepy, if you ask me. After reading today's strip I started talking to the computer saying "start telling him all about your AMAZING AWESOME BOYFRIEND Liz!" At least Liz doesn't seem into it...yet. That better not change. Ew. I may just give up if that happens.
The animated strips are skeeving me out.
Not to mention looking like a Grandpa. I really don't like Anthony - I hope this is just a fake out and Liz doesn't go for it.
PS: Gael, you got me hooked on FBOFW, a strip I hadn't read since I was younger. Now I check out the site a few times a week.
Ugh. Anthony is starting to remind me of a guy who I was kind of friends with who had just split up with his fiancee, and who seemed to desperately want a relationship with me. I felt obliged to be nice to him, but he kept taking my politeness as encouragement. I ended up having to make a website listing all the reasons I hated him and showed it to everyone we knew, and that, thank the gods, finally backed him away.
I'm starting to hope that FBOFW will end with Liz renouncing the material world and becoming a nun.
Well if Liz goes back with Anthony (oh someone please pass me a barf bucket) I hope at least we see Paul beat him silly first.
Oh, God. Now Elly's clearly shown to support Anthony's cause. This is going nowhere good.
I HATE how Ellie is PUSHING Liz towards Anthony (the strip where she asks Liz if Anthony helped her make a decision about her life).
Arg! Seriously, how can Elly possibly want a basket case like Anthony near her daughter, especially when said daughter has a really great (if underdeveloped, characterwise) boyfriend that she herself set Liz up with! No. This is just bad. Yes I am getting overly involved with this. :)
Heeey: Maybe Lynn Johnstone has decided to end the strip by pissing off all of the long-time readers so badly, they all give up reading in disgust because she doesn't want any of that funny stuff like the Charles Schultz estate pulled.
In short: Granthony + Liz = ARGGGBHHHH.
