Hey! Why bother building actual seats into our teeny rocket when we can just make ASSISTANT sit on CAPTAIN PILOT's shoulders? I mean, there are perks to being the CAPTAIN PILOT, and, uh, getting to be on top is one of them.
NASA is even now kicking themselves for not thinking of this first.
