Jon at work and I regularly bemoan the fact that FOX's Sunday comedy, "The War at Home," shows no signs of being canceled.
I know it's hard to lose when you're on the same night/channel as "The Simpsons," but here's a line from the promotion they're running for "War at Home" right now:
Says the annoying dad, speaking about someone who wants to have a singing career: "She has a better chance of finding Osama bin Laden than finding the right key."
In whose comedy universe is that funny and hip as opposed to excruciatingly stupid and unoriginal? I don't get that show. I don't get FOX.

Ugh I hate that show too. It's so over the top sexist, last night the dad actually said "'lil pimp."
For shame Michael Rapaport, for shame indeed
Arrested Development gets cancelled, and this gets to stay on the air forever.
yay.
And yet, amongst that dreck, we have House. The thing about FOX is that I want to hate it, especially because of Rupert Murdoch, but just when I'm really getting up the ire, they put on a show so fantastic I have to back down. Like House, or The X-Files, or Futurama . . . .
I think the PTB decided that, after the brilliant Arrested Development, they needed a show that was the polar effing opposite.
I came to bemoan the presence of The War at Home and the cancellation of Arrested Development, but seeing that already here, I will just add my strong agreement to the fact that that is wrong.
