I'm coming to this late, but I just love how The Comics Curmudgeon laid odds on what would happen in the "For Better or For Worse" burning down the house storyline. And naturally, five or six of these already have happened.
You just know that the older Pattersons are going to selflessly move into that small house John has his eye on and hand their big old place over to Deanna and Michael and brood. Because that's how it happens in real life, you can have two kids before you can pretty much afford them and live stupidly for a number of years. Someone will just hand you their house, for free!
At least that's my understanding of how it happens in Canada. Kinda like socialized healthcare taken to an extreme. Free family homes for everyone! Oh, I kid Canada. We're next-door neighbors, I can do that.

Yup, that's how it happens here -- in Canuck comics, anyway. ...Do you think the FBOFW writers are mining The Comics Curmudgeon for ideas? Sure makes me wonder.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Have you seen today's strip (1/3)? Guess who ELSE is back? I have to admit I didn't see that one coming. I would love to see the CC's odds on how this storyline is going to play out.
I'm looking for a financially comfortable Canadian family to adopt me now. Or adopt my husband. Either way would work.
