They are super good. Like they took the centers of cinnimon rolls and stuck them together and coverd with a nice glaze (not too sweet). You must eat them warm, though, or they get, not hard, but less fresh in texture.
Hi Gael! The cinnamelts are actually pretty freaking awesome, despite their appearance. They have kind of a cream cheesy thing going on in the center, and the whole bun itself is yummy and cinnamon-y (which always pissed me off about regular cinnamon buns - half the thing is dry and unseasoned). I can't believe your local MickeyDs aren't participating! :-)
I'm an entertainment editor at MSNBC.com, and have maintained Pop Culture Junk Mail since August, 1999. The New York Times called the site "one of the best places to explore pop culture online," and Entertainment Weekly included it on their Top 100 Web Sites list. If you like weird food, strange products, and 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, PCJM is your home away from home.
I have a brand new BOOK, written with Brian Bellmont. "Whatever Happened to Pudding Pops? The Lost Toys, Tastes and Trends of the '70s and '80s." Buy it online, and follow our retro reminiscing on our GenXtinct blog,Facebook, and Twitter.

I have to tell you, I've found them to be quite delicious! They must be better than they look. :)
I unfortunatly have tried these and they are not much better than you described...I am still holding out for the return of their cheese danish.
I live in DC, and love these! They're like cinnamon rolls with sugar drizzled all over. They taste better than they look in that picture.

I'll agree that they don't look like much but they really are pretty good.
