Paper lace

While flipping channels today, Rob and I settled on an informercial for this paper-cutting machine, the CriCut.

Apparently it prints designs out, but it prints them in a perforated or cut way, so you get the resulting paper and you can kind of pry off the design you wanted. Cool for scrapbookers and primary school teachers, or kid projects.

Personally we are too impatient -- we would just print out a less-elaborate design and not bother with the cutting of elaborate details -- but it's still interesting.

I'm also always intrigued by the fact that you just know there are some people who love these things and use them like maniacs. I'd love to see their resulting projects.

You have no idea how popular this is among papercrafters. LOL! I waited for the Expression to be released this last summer because it accepts 12 x 12 paper! Go to any crafting website with galleries and/or forums and you will find plenty of projects! You can even cut vinyl and put it on your walls. It is pretty cool!
