You got yer strawberry milkshake in my Oreo!

Strawberry Milkshake Oreos!
Spotted at Target, but my fear of artificial strawberry flavoring led me to not even consider buying them.

Wise choice to leave them on the shelf, I think! I've not tried the cookies myself, but the folks over at deltaparkproject.com tried them and said they tasted *very* artificially flavored, rather like strawberry-flavored cereal.

I also have a great fear of artificial strawberry flavoring. I hated strawberry Quik in the 70s! I, too, saw these at Target and noticed that they had Canadian-style cookie packaging so I looked and sure enough, they appear to be a Canadian Nabisco/Kraft product. Maybe the Canadians are big on yucky fake strawberry flavor!

Haven't seen strawberry, but recently tried Banana Split Oreos and just today picked up a bag of Peanut Butter Oreos...the banana are pretty good, and I haven't tried the peanut butter yet but have high hopes.

they are indeed artificial tasting, but sort of in a delicious way? you should totally steal one from a friend if you see them with some...

Finally - someone with a fear of artificial strawberry____. Back when I was employed with the Coast Guard, I had an awful allergic reaction to artificial smoke (with strawberry scent to make it detectable) used in shipboard firefighting training. I had to be hoisted off the ship by a helicopter at four in the morning, and ferried to the Navy hospital at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. It was a laugh a minute ;-)

These have been out in the Boston area since last summer, but they did disappear over the winter months. SO glad to see them back on the shelves. I love them!
